Detailed Product Specifications & Applications

Grades: FeSi 45%, FeSi 65%, FeSi 72%, FeSi 75%

Typical Composition: Silicon (Si): 45-75%, Iron (Fe): Balance, Aluminum (Al): 1.5% max, Calcium (Ca): 1% max, Carbon (C): 0.1% max.

Application: Primarily used as a deoxidizer and alloying agent in steel production. It improves the steel's strength, elasticity, and magnetic permeability. Higher silicon content grades are used in manufacturing silicon steel for transformer cores and electrical motors. It is also a key ingredient in the production of cast iron, where it acts as a graphitizing agent.

Packaging: Available in 50 kg bags, 1-ton jumbo bags, or as per customer requirement.

Grades: SiMn 16/65, SiMn 18/70, SiMn 20/65

Typical Composition: Manganese (Mn): 65-70%, Silicon (Si): 16-20%, Carbon (C): 1.5-2.0%, Phosphorus (P): 0.20% max, Sulfur (S): 0.03% max.

Application: A cost-effective deoxidizer and alloying additive in steelmaking, combining the benefits of both silicon and manganese. It enhances strength, toughness, and hardenability while reducing brittleness. Widely used in the production of carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel for construction, automotive, and rail industries.

Packaging: Lumpy form (10-80mm), 1-ton jumbo bags or bulk.
